H2-O

After a weekend of postponements while the humans gathered their courage, O got his first delivery of fluids at home this evening. I had the easy job as the needle pusher. Keith had the very tough job of making sure we didn't get hurt. Difficult to keep a cat scruffed firmly for several minutes when the kitty is all loose skin to begin with. It went about 200 times better than I was expecting. O complained and squirmed and complained more, but he didn't really mount a struggle or break out the weapons. He ate some wet food afterward too. One down. Who knows how many more to go. He seizured again earlier this evening so I really hope that getting him into a fluid schedule will support him through this stage of his life.
