Peg, I'm so sorry. What an awful heartache to lose them both at practically the same time. Please tell Pat how sorry I am.
As Beckett taught me, your tears are not praise enough. I'm so glad they were both in your life.
I'm so sorry. This has been a pretty sucky fall (as far as loosing dogs), hasn't it? Here's to winter or spring, or just something else.
