The blog is back

Herewith begins the filling of gaps. That will take a while and won't all happen in order. Also some photos I've wanted to share for a while (hi, Raina!) will have to wait a bit longer for me to access them. But as of now one of the formerly dead computers maintains a pulse as long as I don't move its carefully angled power cord from its partially-connected state of grace, the other dead one is now officially awaiting its heart transplant, and an old refurbished one on which all our dreams are now pinned was brought home today.
